Thai Beef Rice Bowl

This bowl composes of flavourful beef, stir-fried to perfection, and lovingly nestled atop a bed of fluffy rice. The minced beef boasts an enticing blend of spicy, savory and sweet flavors thanks to the combination of spices and sauces used.

Wash the rice a couple of times in a bowl until the water is clear.
Cook rice in salted water for 8 minutes, then leave covered for 5 minutes and flake it with a fork.
In a wok on a teaspoon of sesame oil fry garlic on high heat for a couple of seconds, then add minced beef, season with MSG, pepper and ginger and fry for 2 minutes.
Mix a teaspoon of sesame oil, mirin, oyster and fish sauce, light and dark soy sauce and a teaspoon of sugar, then add it to the meat and cook for a minute longer.
Serve the beef over rice and sprinkle with chives.
