Halloween Oreo Brownies

This is the time to get creative!

I hope I’ll never be one of those people who says Halloween is for kids! I love the spooky festivities, dressing up and playing with food in the most ghoulish way possible.

And the Halloween Oreo Brownies are the perfect sweet treat to indulge in during the spooky season. These delectable brownies combine the rich and fudgy goodness of a classic brownie with the irresistible crunch of Oreo cookies. With a dark and chocolatey base, each bite is filled with pockets of crushed Oreos, adding a delightful texture and hint of sweetness. The brownies are then topped with ghoulish Halloween icons that will be come as a cherry on top for any Halloween party.

Melt chocolate and butter, then mix until combined.

Separately whisk eggs with sugar for a couple of minutes until light and fluffy, then add in the chocolate, flour, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, then combine.

Spread half of the batter into a lined baking mould, then cover with approximately 12 Oreos. Then pour the rest of the batter over the cookies.

Use the rest of Oreos for decoration. To shape the cookies into bats, cut one Oreo cookie in half and push the halves inside of the cream of one whole cookie. Slightly press them into the batter along with some roughly crushed Oreos.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/356°F for 30 minutes.

Leave it to cool down for 10 minutes, then take it out of the mould and using melted white chocolate glue some edible Halloween eyes, draw fangs and spider web.
