Apple Crumble Pie

Don’t get me wrong, there’s still heavy when you eat half a pan of them just because they are so amazing and addictive, so once you start, it’s hard to stop. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Whisk together flour and baking powder, then add in one egg, vanilla sugar, 65 g of sugar, room temperature butter and a pinch of salt, then mix well into a dough.
Divide the dough into two pieces and wrap both in plastic foil. Place one into the refrigerator and one into the freezer.
Peel the apples and cut them into smaller pieces, then together with 50 g of sugar, cinnamon and water cook for 25-30 minutes until the apples soften, then blend in a blender and let it cool down.
Roll out the refrigerated dough on a floured surface and place in a lined casserole dish. Poke with a fork a couple of times, then cover with the apples.
Take out the other dough from the freezer, and grate it over the apples.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/356°F for 45 minutes.
Let it cool down, then sprinkle with icing sugar.
