Slice the potatoes into about 7-8 mm thick slices, then spread them over the bottom of the pot.
Cut the hake fillets into 3 or 4 parts, then place them over the sliced potatoes.
Separately season the fish stock with salt and pepper, then pour it into the pot, add minced garlic, bay leaves, chopped parsley, lemon juice and white wine, then cover with a lid, place on medium heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes without stirring.
