Honey Heart Cookies

Whisk the flour, ground hazelnuts, baking powder, cocoa powder, a pinch of salt, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and sugar.

Combine honey, milk and melted butter until incorporated, then add in the dry ingredients and knead into a dough. Wrap the dough in plastic foil and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Take the dough out of the fridge and leave for 5 minutes at room temperature, then roll out on a floured surface to 3 mm thickness.

Using the heart shaped cookie cutter shape the cookies and spread them over a lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/356°F for 15 minutes, then let them cool down completely.

Melt the dark chocolate with a tablespoon of oil, then dip half of each cookie in the chocolate and drizzle with melted white chocolate, then leave them to set.
