Chicken Drumsticks with Fusilli Lunghi Bucati

Everyone loves meals under 30 minutes and so do I!

If you ask an Italian, there is no place for chicken in pasta. Even the first answer to Google’s question ‘What not to eat in Italy?’ is ‘Eating Chicken with Pasta.’

But I couldn’t care less about this Italian rule, because it’s so wrong! I love adding chicken to my pasta and there is probably a million chicken pasta recipes proving that chicken and pasta work marvelous together in all shapes and forms!

And with only a few ingredients you have such a flavourful pasta in front of you!

Cook pasta in salted water and save half a cup of pasta water.

Remove the bones from the drumsticks and cut the chicken into smaller pieces.

On olive oil saute minced garlic for a minute, then add the chicken pieces. Season with salt, pepper and smoked paprika. Sear for a couple of minutes, then add the cooked pasta, pasta water and chopped parsley.

Simmer for a few more minutes on low heat and then, slurp away!
